AussieIndie.com is a web site for showcasing Australia’s indie game development scene. The site came about from a lack of any decent way of finding out about Australian made indie games. Also to give people something a bit more lasting than iPhone App store’s new games list.

Posts

Posts are one of four main categories:

• AussieIndie – For site related posts.
• Releases – For new releases of games.
• Reviews – For reviews of games.
• Developers – Interviews or other information on developers.

Posts in the “Releases” category are mainly information provided directly from developers. This allows developers to sell their game the way they want.

Posts in the “Reviews” category are in house or guest reviews by people not affilated with the game’s developers. This is where we will give you our take on the game.

Posts in the “Developers” category are interviews conducted in house or other information related to developers.

How to get your game on AussieIndie.com

Firstly, the site is for Australia games, so if all the developers involved are Australian you’re in. If at least part of the team is Australian, email us and we’ll work it out on a case-by-case basis.

If you have a new game you want us to share, email aussieindie at gmail.com with what you want us to say about your game, plus any pictures or videos. If you want us to hold off until a certain date, we can do that too.

If you have a released game and would like us to do a review, then email us. It would help if you sent us a copy to play though. We may review games on our own whim though, and in those cases the reviewer will most likely have their own personal copy. We will make it clear in the review ifthe game was provided.

If you are a developer and would like some love, email us. We can arrange either an interview by us, or give you an opportunity to speak for yourself. We will also actively ask developers to answer questions for us, most likely following game releases or reviews.
